Champions Kelburne faced title challengers Grange in the match of the day at Bellahouston.

Grange took the lead when they took advantage of some slack Kelburne marking to score through Fergus Dunn. Kelburne skipper Gareth Hall continued his fine scoring form when he scored from a rebound to level the scores.

Grange were them awared a penalty flick that was dispatched past keeper Allan Dick to give Grange the lead once more.

Johnny Christie then found fellow striker Kenny Bain with an inch prefect pass that saw him round the keeper to slot home another goal for Kelburne to level the scores once again. But back came Grange to take the lead for the 3rd time in the match just before the interval.

After a half time talk from stand in coach Derek Forsyth, Kelburne came out firing and skipper Gareth Hall scored his second of the match to level the scores at 3-3, Chris Nelson then gave Kelburne the lead for the first time in the match when he combined with Mark Ralph to score Kelburnes 4th.

But back came Grange and after a period of sustained pressure Grange squeezed the ball over the line to level the scores once more.

With the clock running down and Kelburne looking like dropping their first points of the season Johnny Christie scored a wonderful reverse stick shot to give the Champions Kelburne all three points.

Skipper Gareth Hall commented: ?Although we didn?t play our best we showed a lot of character in winning this match against a Grange side that really had to win.?
