Kelburne secured their 3rd consecutive Subway national league title on Saturday, with the Paisley side winning their third consecutive championship in considerable style and a week to spare when they visited Edinburgh yesterday, trouncing Inverleith 9-1.

Two penalty-corner drag-flicks by Mark Ralph opened the scoring, Gareth Hall had one in each half, as did Jonny Christie, while Kenny Bain struck home twice in the second period, Michael Christie also slammed home a goal in the second half.

The one-way parade of strikers lining up to pepper the Inverleith netting was interrupted briefly to allow Inverleith to pull one back early in the second half.

Otherwise, the display reflected all the hallmarks of an almost faultless campaign by the Paisley champions since the start of the season, their 3rd league win in a row.
