This Saturday at Whitehaugh the 1st XI take on GHK in their final league game of the season in the Western Union Division 1.
With this game being the last league game of the season for Kelburne a win would ensure that we won the league and that we went through to the play-offs to compete for a place in Division 2 of the Scottish Cricket National League.
The game starts at 1pm and consists of 50 overs per side and there will be a BBQ for all to enjoy.
Currently Kelburne are sitting 2nd in the league on 82.7% having played 12 games and are just behind GHK who are on 85.3% having played only 9 games however GHK are scheduled also to play against Titwood on Sunday.
The permitations of the possible results are as follows:
Kelburne WIN will result in us moving on to 84% and with GHK being given 10 points then assuming that they win on Sunday they can then only reach 82.5%
Kelburne defeat with 10 points then we would be on 79.4% and if GHK lost on Sunday with 10 points they could only drop to 82.5%
If the game is a draw then all possibilities are still on and will go down to GHK?s game on Sunday away to Titwood.
Please come along and give the boys as much support as possible in what is sure to be a very tense and thrilling game of cricket
