Kelburne draw Irvine in SCU Trophy

Brunton Miller Western Union rivals Kelburne and Irvine meet in the quarter finals of the Lloyds TSB Scotland SCU Trophy on Sunday June 29, the draw for which has been made today (Tuesday 10 June).

Kelburne defeated Western Union table-toppers Glasgow Accies, who were regarded as favourites by many to lift the SCU Trophy, by three wickets and with 5 overs to spare to go through, while Irvine beat Fauldhouse. Two other Western Union sides, Helensburgh, who beat Langholm by nine wickets, and East Kilbride, who defeated Murrayfield-DAFS, are also through to the quarter-finals.

The full draw is: Strathmore v Holy Cross Academicals; Helensburgh v Huntly; Galashiels v East Kilbride; Kelburne v Irvine.

The semi-finals will be played on Sunday July 20 (reserve date July 27), and the final, to be played at Stirling County?s new ground, will be on Sunday August 3 (reserve date August 10).
