Chris Nelson named Scotland Captain


1st team star Chris Nelson has recently been appointed the new captain of Scotland. Nelly has been a consistent performer for club and country in recent years and the captaincy is well deserved. Chris will discuss his thoughts on radio this Saturday.

Senior men?s coach Russell Garcia and newly appointed team captain Chris Nelson will speak with BBC Sports Weekly live from Invercargill, New Zealand this Saturday morning.

The interview takes place after the senior men face China in the first match of the World Cup qualifier.   The duo will talk about their first result and other upcoming matches in the tournament. 

Russell Garcia will also speak about his aims for the squad going forward and Chris Nelson discusses how it feels to be named captain for Scotland.
