The Men's 1st team are back in action this Sunday when they take on Hillhead in a catch up match carried over from the first half of the season.
Victory would put the team 4 points clear at the top of the table and still with a game in hand over nearest challengers Western. Burne will be missing Ian Horsefield but otherwise should be at full strength for the encounter which starts at 14.30 at Bellahouston.
Prior to this the indoor squad are in action on Saturday in Perth as they face Harris and Grange. Burne will be looking to consolidate their position in the league with 2 victories and are boosted by the return of Michael Bremner and Willie Marshall, while Michael Nicol retains his place following his fine debut last week.
Other teams in action this weekend include the Men's 3's and 4's. The 3's recorded a fine 8-2 victory over local rivals Anchor last time out and will be looking to build upon this when they face Western at Auchenhowie with a 12 o'clock push back. Veteran Dave Flower will be hoping for better luck this week having suffered an equipment malfunction last week.
The 4th team face Strathclyde Uni at 14.30 at Bellahouston, while the 5th team play Hillhead at Jordanhill with a 15.45 push back.
