The full strength Kelburne 5s team turned up at Cambusdoon, raring to play and hoping to bring back some points.

Kelburne started strong, and after 3 minutes were awarded a short corner, but were unfortunately unable to convert it. Kelburne were soon pressuring Ayr's defence again with an attack from Neil Godfrey, but again were unable to score. Ayr were soon on the counter attack, but couldn't do anything with it and the attack broke up. Ayr were soon on the attack again, and were only denied a goal by a save on the line from Neil Godfrey. Ayr continued to attack the Kelburne  goal and were knocked back by a combination of the defence and goalkeeper, Jony Barlow. However Kelburne's luck soon ran out, when Ayr managed to slot a shot past the keeper and into the goal.

The score at half time was 1-0.

Ayr were quick off the mark in the second half, and scored within the first 2 minutes. This was followed quickly by another after a brief scrabble at the goal mouth. Score now stood at 3-0. Kelburne soon began to string several attacks together, but once again were unable to finnish them with a goal. Ayr then managed to regain their attacking form and slot another shot into the Kelburne goal. Ayr continued to pressure the Kelburne defence, and despite the best efforts of the defence, they managed to increase their lead further. Ayr continued their attacking form, and fired 2 more shots into Kelburne's goal in the next 5 minutes. In the final 10 minutes of the game Kelburne managed to presure the Ayr defence and avoided conceding another goal.

The final score ended at an unfortunate 7-0. The team were disappointed with the outcome of this match, but are determined to learn from the experience.
