Website takes Kelburne Worldwide

Following the launch of the forum in 2006, a new Kelburne website was created in July, 2009. I thought it might be interesting to share with members how the site has done in that time.

Since it's launch the website has attracted over 53,000 visits, nearly 3500 a month, with each visitor typically looking at about three or four pages.

In sixteen months over 11,500 different people have visited the site with the highest number of visitors in one day being 237. A typical number of visitors is between 150-200 a day. Unsurpisingly, the busiest months in the year are October, November and March. Surprisingly, we had 18 visits on Christmas Day and 45 on New Years Day - TV must have been really bad.

We've also had an amazing amount of visits, more than 2,500, from overseas. The top ten sources of visitors are:

A more recent phenomenon is the use of mobile devices to visit the site. From zero visits of this type in November last year we now get 15 to 25 mobile visits a day - a list dominated by iPhones, iPods and iPads. Who knew Kelburne members were such posers?!

Apart from curiosity value, these figures give an idea of the kind of exposure we can promsise to potential sponsors and the kind of reach we have in seeking new members.
