Kelburne Welcomes Stacy Ramsay

For the 2011/2012 campaign, Kelburne Ladies 1stXI have recruited the help of Stacy Ramsay. Due to an unfortunate injury last year, Stacy?s playing career came to a premature end; however she has decided that, rather than walking away from hockey altogether, she will turn her hand to coaching instead, and has joined ranks with Kelburne.

As a player, Stacy has enjoyed a high level of success, having represented Scotland at U16, U18 and U21 level. Stacy?s club hockey career has seen her attend European competitions with Grove, and she spent the last 7 years playing in National League Division 1 with Grange.

As Kelburne coach, Stacy aims to build on the foundations already present at the club. When asked where Stacy?s main focus is, her response was ?Development of our young players is key to building our squad and to attract new players to give depth to our club.? This will hopefully lead our Ladies teams to future success and European hockey once again.
