Kelburne Mens 3s: 4
Clydesdale 4s: 3
Kelburne started the game well by managing to get an early goal from Billy Anderson, creating a positive morale in the team. Then Clydesdale managed to fight their way back into the game through a short corner. This made Kelburne more determined to win and Billy Anderson scored his second with a disguised deflection. 2-1 up and Kelburne kept the pressure on by not letting Clydesdale out of their own half. There were many chances just missing the goal but finally the hard work paid off with a scruffy back post tap-in by Brodie Mackay, making the score at half time 3-1.
In the second half, Kelburne started off tired but with grit and determination. However, the fatigue got the better of Kelburne, giving Clydesdale a second goal. The determination was still with Kelburne, and Billy Anderson got his Hat-Trick from a 1 vs 1 with the keeper. Nearing the end of the game, both teams were showing tiredness and sloppy mistakes, causing Kelburne to go back to basics. Frustratingly, Clydesdale got a 3rd goal bringing the score to 4-3 with only 10 minutes left on the clock - however, Kelburne managed to hold out for victory.
