Glynhill Kelburne took on Hillhead HC under the lights at Glasgow Green on Friday evening in front of a large crowd
The opening quarter of this game was pretty even with some swift end to end exchanges , but with few clear cut scoring opportunities either way .
Kelburne made the breakthrough in the 19 th minute when Lee Morton latched onto a through ball from Adam Bain to round keeper Jamie Frail ,and dispatching into the net for 1?0 .
In the 26 th minute a great effort from Johnny Christie forced Frail into a fine save at the near post ,but brother Michael Christie was on hand to fire the re bound home for a 2?0 lead .
Two minutes before the half time interval Mark Ralph eased Kelburne 3 in front when he dispatched Kelburne's first penalty corner low past the Hillhead keeper .

The early period of the second half saw more end to end exchanges before Andrew Hilton pulled a goal back for Hillhead in the 42 nd minute with a Penalty Stroke conversion , sending keeper Fulton the wrong way and reduce the deficit to two .
In the 60 th minute however Glynhill Kelburne secured all 3 points when great work by Johnny Christie and Lee Morton set up Jack McKenzie to score with ease as The home side ran out comfortable victors by 4 goal to 1 .
Next up for Glynhill Kelburne is a double header next weekend, away to Edinburgh University on the Saturday before heading to play Clydesdale at Titwood on the Sunday
