Summer Camp a HUGE Success

The club held its annual Summer Camp last year and another great time was had by all

in attendance.
With over 70 kids taking part and despite some bad weather, they were put through a week of intensive coaching as well as developing their game skills and teamwork skills.
The club was delighted to welcome back Scottish Internationalist and Summer Camp 'Legend' Willie Marshall who was on hand to pass on handy hints and tips to the clubs up and coming young players.
The camp offers a good introduction to hockey for newcomers, as well as allowing those with experience the opportunity to develop and refine their skills. They are then given the opportunity to try the new skills learned in games and challenges throughout the week.
Thanks go to all the coaches who made the week a success particularly during the poor weather.
Plans are already under way for next years Camps, which will aim to be even better!
