European Champions Trophy 13th to 16th May 2016, Glasgow Green

As you will probably be aware, the club arehosting this year?s Men?s European Champions Trophy Tournament at Glasgow Green, from 12^th to 16^th May 2016.

This is a massive event for the club and also a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the club.

I have been appointed as the Event manager for the tournament and we are well underway with the organisation and I urgently require volunteers for the following areas;

Team Liaisons

There are 8 teams competing, including our men?s 1^st XI

Pool A		Pool B
1	HC Minsk (BLR)	2	SK Slavia Praha (CZE)
4	Banbridge (IRL)	3	Atasport (AZE)
5	Kelburne HC (SCO)	6	HC Bra (ITA)
8	HC Rotweiss Wettingen (SUI)	7	Cardiff & Met HC (WAL)

 I currently have four volunteers and require another four, I am also happy for people to share the position for a team.

The majority of the teams arrive on Thursday 12^th may and depart on either the 16^th or 17^th so they have to be covered for that period.  You don?t have to spend all day with them, just be available at certain times and on the phone if they require any assistance.  Full duties will be made available shortly.

Stewards
We need at least a dozen stewards to cover various areas of the 4 day event at Glasgow Green for the event.

Ball Patrol (Manager Rachel Ewing day)
We need at least 16 to cover the 4 day event at Glasgow Green, 8 per game.

Ticketing
We need at least 10 to cover the 4 day event at Glasgow Green.

Twitters
(I think that?s what you call them), persons to cover games on twitter, sending constant updates on the games.

For all those involved above the club will be providing tops, polo shirts / bibs as appropriate for the positions.
