Bromac Men's 1s players head for Spain.

Bromac Men's 1s players Rory Kerr and Lee Morton have been selected for the Scotland squad as they head to the warmer climates of Spain for a training camp to play 3 matches against Russia this weekend.

Morton has previous experience within the group and he will be looking to cement his place within the squad for the upcoming challenges of the World League and EuroHockey Championships. For Rory Kerr, this will be his first experience at this level and is reward for a string of fine displays since joining the club in the summer.

The duo will have a number of familiar faces within the team as ex Burne stars Alan and David Forsyth, Willie Marshall, Ed Greaves and Michael Bremner form the back bone of the squad. Good luck to all involved this weekend.

On the domestic front, the Men's 1s will look to continue their strong start to the Indoor campiagn when they face Grange and Hillhead. Kerr and Morton will be absent but the squad is boosted by the inclusion of Jack McKenzie and veteran indoor specialist Chris Nelson.

On Sunday, the Ladies 1s will continue their quest for promtion to division 1. Coach Adam Bain has selected a strong squad and will be keen to get the second half off to a strong start.
