West District Junior Indoor festival

On Sunday the Lagoon leisure centre hosted the Junior West District Indoor festival.  Kelburne joined another eleven clubs from the West District to compete in the festival which replaced last years tournament.

Kelburne were represented by ten young players at U-8's, U-10's and U-12's.  With all players demonstrating why we continue to be a dominating force in hockey.  All teams remained undefeated across the day, with the U-8's not even conceding a goal.

Coach Rachael Ewing-Day said "We are delighted with how the youngsters are developing and enjoying their hockey.  We always do well at these festivals which is thanks to the hard work of a team of dedicated coaches.  For me seeing them playing so well makes it all worthwhile."

West District Junior Festivals

Over the last few weeks start  the Kelburne  juniors have successfully represented the club at various West District  festivals.  These festivals will continue to run throughout the season at various venues throughout the West.  Names will be taken from Rachael at jockeys and on Slack if you wish your young player to be involved.
